Welcome to DOCS: AI Document Editor ("Application"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Application, our website, and any related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Performing AI ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. License and Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on mobile devices owned or controlled by you solely for your personal or internal business purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.
  • Sublicense, lease, rent, or distribute the Application to any third party.
  • Use the Service in any unlawful manner or for any illegal purpose.

2. AI-Powered Features and Fair Use

The Service includes AI-powered document formatting, text transformation, and image generation capabilities. Your usage of these features is subject to the following rules:

  • Ownership of Content: You retain all intellectual property rights in the text, document drafts, and prompts you input, as well as the output generated for you by our AI processors.
  • Fair Use limits: To prevent server abuse and ensure high quality of service, we enforce daily quota limits on AI requests. Attempting to bypass these limits using automated scripts, bots, or multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain advanced features of the Application require a premium subscription plan. All payments are processed securely through the Google Play Store Billing system:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis as described during purchase, and will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
  • You can manage or cancel your premium subscription at any time through your Google Play Store account settings.
  • Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the Google Play Store.

4. Disclaimers of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the AI-generated content is accurate or complete.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Performing AI or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
